TBMYO Mekatronik

This program includes three labs. One of them is that the students could do basic drawing, design, and programming in. The other one is industrial automation lab 1 where 24 PLCs take place. The last one is industrial automation lab 2 where basic electronic application is taught. There are 24 microcontroller development boards in this lab. In addition, students can work individually for their hobby projects. There are also rooms for study. Our program accepts the students with Primary Education and Secondary Education.

The Program is a versatile engineering field based on mechanical, electronics, software and control engineering. With actuators consisting of mechanical and electronic components, detecting data with the help of the sensors from the ambient environment, interpreting all the data via control devices (microprocessor, etc.) and via software in memory, taking the necessary decisions all machinery giving the necessary reaction, apparatus and system are mechatronic systems. Automated machines (ie, mechatronics systems) which could detect, measure, take decisions, move towards this decision are used in the defense industry, medicine, agriculture, banking, mining, and in many areas. These areas are expanding with each passing day. Systems and products widely used nowadays such as night vision systems, mine-clearing robots, automated storage systems, cameras, videos, clothes-washing machines, ATMs are mechatronic systems. In our program, technical staffs are intended to train to meet the needs of the industry on these systems

Our students take courses in our school for the first 3 semesters and do an internship in industry in the 4th semester.
